Scott Covert’s Ball on the Rock.
A series of collages based on a rubbing of Lucille Ball’s gravestone. Ball’s remains were moved from LA to upstate NY. Prior to the move, Covert made a series of rubbings from her grave. The collages contain Scott’s signature meditative drawing style combined with hedonistic photos from Scott’s archive.
